“Play It Again” Gives Luke Bryan a Seventh Solo Number One

Thanks to a new single that drives radio programmers and music buyers to “Play it Again,” Luke Bryan has officially earned his seventh number one as a lead artist.

“Play it Again,” the fourth single from Bryan’s blockbuster “Crash My Party,” ascends to the top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart dated April 26, 2014.

In climbing the final two places this week, it dethrones Florida Georgia Line’s “This is How We Roll,” which features Bryan, from the top of the country mountain.

And by continuing to rise at radio and maintain its position in the Top 10 on iTunes’ Single Sales chart, the Bryan single stands an excellent chance of extending its reign for at least another week.

The seventh solo country number one of Luke Bryan’s career, “Play it Again” is the third chart-topper from his “Crash My Party” album. Previous singles “That’s My Kind of Night” and “Drink a Beer” also reached the chart’s summit.

His earlier career number ones include “Rain is a Good Thing,” “Someone Else Calling You Baby,” “I Don’t Want This Night to End” and “Drunk on You.”
