Ratings: “The Americans” Viewership Improves In Wake of Renewal

With their show officially renewed for season three, the cast, crew and executives behind FX’s “The Americans no longer need to intently stress the weekly ratings report.

Hopeful that their show will continue to attract an audience and garner buzz befitting the show’s critical acclaim, they do, however, still have reason to care.

And when viewership ticks up, they have reason to celebrate.

While Wednesday’s edition of “The Americans” matched the paltry 0.4 adults 18-49 rating that has become standard, the show can celebrate a rebound from last week’s viewership low.

With an average of 1.39 million viewers, the episode was the most-watched since the March 19 edition.
