KONGOS’ “Come With Me Now” Opens MTV Movie Awards, Hits Top 40 Radio

The fastest-rising alternative hit since Lorde’s “Royals” continues to soar higher.

Set to formally impact Top 40 radio this week, KONGOS’ breakthrough smash “Come With Me Now” garnered high-profile exposure during Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards.

The track, which reigns at number one on Alternative Radio and on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart, provided musical accompaniment for the show’s pre-recorded opening sketch.

That sketch involved host Conan O’Brien, in an effort to top all previous MTV Movie Awards openings, scoring cameo “appearances” from fifty celebrities.

In addition to its success within the alternative format, “Come With Me Now” this week entered the Billboard Hot 100 and reached a new peak of #14 on the Rock Songs chart.
