Those who heard Luke Bryan’s blockbuster new single evidently cannot wait to “Play it Again.”
“Play it Again,” which has erupted at country radio over the past few weeks, has officially climbed into the top ten on iTunes’ overall singles sales chart. It is currently the only country tune in that illustrious group.
In rocketing to #5 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, the song becomes Bryan’s eleventh consecutive top five hit. That streak, which along with massive album sales confirms the extent of Bryan’s stardom, extends across three studio albums.
While it is only number sixteen on this week’s Billboard Country Airplay chart, it is rapidly gaining spins on the country radio format. Number fifteen over the trailing seven days, it will quickly advance into the top ten.
“Play it Again” is the fourth single from Bryan’s “Crash My Party” album. It joins “Crash My Party,” “That’s My Kind of Night” and “Drink a Beer” in becoming a top five country hit and seeks to join the latter two in becoming a #1 song.
