Pharrell Still “Happy” at #1, “Turn Down for What” Goes Top 10

Musical tastes might be fickle, but the Billboard Hot 100 can prove a stubborn animal.

The top seven places on this week’s chart mirrors those of last week’s rundown.

That means Pharrell’s “Happy” extends its reign at number one to a sixth week. John Legend’s career-best “All of Me” follows at number two, while Katy Perry’s former number one “Dark Horse (featuring Juicy J)” holds tight at number three.

Jason DeRulo’s “Talk Dirty (featuring 2 Chainz)” and Idina Menzel’s “Let it Go” repeat at four and five, respectively, while Bastille’s “Pompeii” and Lorde’s “Team” occupy the next two positions.

The chart’s first shakeup comes in the eighth position, which Aloe Blacc’s “The Man” usurps from OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars.” That song settles for number nine.

The lone newcomer in the top ten is DJ Snake and Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What,” which advances five places to score that tenth position.
