A fixture of the top ten during its pre-order phase, 5 Seconds of Summer’s long-awaited EP “She Looks So Perfect” surged to number one on iTunes following its Tuesday release.
Expected to lead the weekly Billboard 200 with sales of at least 150-200,000, the EP instantly puts the Australian pop-rock act on the map in the United States.
As of press time, several new releases join the 5SOS EP in the top ten. Christina Perri’s “Head or Heart” claims second, while Dan + Shay’s “Where it All Began” is situated in third. Chevelle’s new “La Gargola” trails the enduring “Frozen” soundtrack to claim the last spot in the top five.
Nickel Creek’s new “A Dotted Line,” MKTO’s new (in the US) “MKTO” and Chiodos’ new “Devil” occupy the next three places. Shakira’s “Shakira.” and Manchester Orchestra’s new “Cope” complete the top ten.
