“Total Divas” Ratings Surge to Highest Marks Since Summer

Ratings for its season premiere might have been lackluster, but E’s “Total Divas” is definitely not down for a three-count.

Despite facing the season finale of “The Walking Dead,” Sunday’s “Total Divas” enjoyed a viewership increase for a second consecutive week. After posting a 0.6 rating with 1.28 million viewers for last week’s episode, this Sunday’s broadcast jumped to a 0.8 rating with 1.55 million viewers.

The series’ second-most-watched episode on record (behind only the August 11 airing), Sunday’s broadcast delivered the show’s best adults 18-49 performance since September 1.

“On March 30th, the show scored its second most-watched episode in its history and strongest telecast this season-to-date with 1.55 million total viewers, 616,000 women 18-49 and 416,000 women 18-34,” elaborated E!. “The telecast was also the most-watched episode in total viewers since August 11th 2013 (1.55 million) and the best since September 1st 2013 in adults 18-49 (984,000), women 18-49 (616,000) and women 18-34 (416,000).”

The strong “Total Divas” lead-in fueled a successful season two premiere for “Eric & Jessie: Game On.” The show’s 0.5 adults 18-49 rating (674,000 viewers in the demo) tops that delivered by both the season one premiere and finale.

“The telecast built over its season one finale on November 3rd 2013 across all demos including adults 18-49 (+15%, 674,000 vs. 586,000) and women 18-49 (+6%, 510,000 vs. 482,000),” details E! “Moreover, the premiere outperformed its season one debut back on September 29th 2013 across-the-board with double-digit gains in adults 18-49 (+14%, 674,000 vs. 593,000) and women 18-49 (+14%, 510,000 vs. 447,000) powered by core young women (W18-34: +25%, 388,000 vs. 310,000).”
