“Hannibal” Ties Season High in Ratings, Sets New Viewership High

After a few weeks of lingering in unimpressive territory, NBC’s “Hannibal” delivered a season high performance Friday.

Whether the high–which is still unimpressive within the general television market–changes the show’s prospects remains to be seen, but it was definitely welcomed by NBC’s critically acclaimed drama.

Up 22% week-to-week, the episode drew a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating with 3.65 million viewers.

Even with the 1.1 posted by the February 28 season premiere, the episode garnered an additional 300,000 viewers to set a new viewership high for the season.

The 3.65 million average was, in fact, the show’s best count since the series’ second episode aired on April 11, 2013.
