Demi Lovato’s “Neon Lights” Gains at Radio, “Ain’t it Fun” Goes Top 20

The “Neon Lights” are not done shining.

Thanks to a continually increasing spin count, “Neon Lights,” the third single from Demi Lovato’s “DEMI,” has reached a new peak at Top 40 Radio.

According to Mediabase, “Lights” was the seventh-most-spun song over the seven day period between March 20 and March 26. A peak for the song, it represents a two-place jump from last week’s position.

Other key movers within the top 20 include Martin Garrix’s “Animals,” which ascends from 18 to 15, The Chainsmokers’ “#SELFIE,” which advances from 20 to 16, Naughty Boy & Sam Smith’s “La La La,” which climbs from 22 to 19 and Paramore’s “Ain’t it Fun,” which jumps from 25 to 20.

Rixton’s “Me & My Broken Heart,” the format’s most-added tune, officially cracks the top 25 on an ascent from #31 to #24.

Gainers outside the Top 25 include Hot Chelle Rae’s “Don’t Say Goodnight” (43-37), Calvin Harris’ “Summer” (55-39), New Hollow’s “She Ain’t You” (47-40), Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy (featuring Charli XCX)” (54-41), 5 Seconds of Summer’s “She Looks So Perfect” (61-46), Phantogram’s “Fall in Love” (56-48) and Katy Tiz’ “The Big Bang” (debuts at 49).
