NBC Confirms KONGOS, Bob Costas for “Late Night with Seth Meyers”

In the process of building a unique late night identity, NBC’s new “Late Night with Seth Meyers” is reportedly limiting the number of musical acts it features on the show.

That limit will not, however, keep the band behind alt-radio smash “Come with Me Now” from making an appearance.

NBC confirmed that KONGOS will perform on the April 2 edition of its Seth Meyers-hosted talk show. Interview guests for the evening include Bob Costas and Steve Coogan.

Currently the number two song at Alternative Radio, KONGOS’ “Come with Me Now” is #97 on the overall iTunes Single Sales chart.

NBC’s updated “Late Night” listings follow:

Wednesday, Mar. 26: Guests Tim Olyphant, Cristin Milioti and musical guest Bleachers. Show 0023.

Thursday, Mar. 27: Guests Jennifer Connelly, James Van Der Beek and Joe Mande. Show 0024.

Monday, Mar. 31: Guests Kevin Bacon, Kevin Millar & Sean Casey and Katherine Schwarzenegger. Show 0025.

Tuesday, Apr. 1: Guest Nick Cannon and musical guest Brett Eldredge. Show 0026.

Wednesday, Apr. 2: Guests Bob Costas, Steve Coogan and musical guest Kongos.
