John Legend’s “All of Me” Hits #2, Menzel’s “Let it Go” #5 on Hot 100

The peak of the Billboard Hot 100 once again belongs to Pharrell’s “Happy,” but two ballads managed to reach high points of their own this week.

“All of Me,” the most successful single in John Legend’s acclaimed career, ascends to a new peak of number two on the chart this week. Number three on last week’s chart, “All of Me” trades places with Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse (featuring Juicy J).”

Jason DeRulo’s “Talk Dirty (featuring 2 Chainz)” holds at number four.

Idina Menzel’s “Let it Go,” the week’s other big mover, surges to number five. The Grammy winner for Best Original Song had previously peaked at number nine on the industry’s definitive singles chart.

Bastille’s “Pompeii” (6), Lorde’s “Team” (7), OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars” (8), Aloe Blacc’s “The Man” (9) and Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love (featuring Jay Z)” (10) complete the top tenth of the chart.
