Pharrell’s “Happy” Sets All-Time Audience Record at Radio

Pharrell officially has more reason to be jubilant about his blockbuster single “Happy.”

“Happy,” the number one song on the iTunes Single Sales chart, the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the Billboard Pop Songs chart, the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Song Songs chart and on many more, has officially set an all-time record at radio.

According to Mediabase, “Happy” garnered 264.9 million audience impressions across all radio formats this week. That total is the largest weekly radio audience for a song in history.

Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines,” which featured Pharrell and TI, previously held the record with 258 million impressions.
