Dawn & Hawkes Sold 24,000 Copies of “I’ve Just Seen a Face”

After four Blind Audition episodes, only one season six “The Voice” performance has “Seen” the upper region of the iTunes Single Sales chart.

Dawn and Hawkes’ “I’ve Just Seen a Face,” that performance, made a splash following its inclusion in the NBC series’ season six premiere episode.

Not limited to the iTunes chart, the performance also rode its solid sales performance to a number 22 debut on Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs. According to Billboard, it moved 24,000 digital copies in its inaugural week of availability.

Thus far this season, Dawn & Hawkes’ performance is the only “Voice” audition number to truly make waves on the charts. If the definition of waves is loosened to include any song that reached the top 100 on iTunes, one could potentially include Christina Grimmie’s “Wrecking Ball” and Clarissa Serna’s “Zombie.”
