“The Voice'”s Dawn & Hawkes Climb iTunes, Christina Grimmie Follows

Update: Proving that “The Voice” is still hot–and that Blind Audition performances are more than capable of eliciting enthusiasm–Dawn & Hawkes’ “I’ve Just Seen a Face” has ascended to number twenty five on the iTunes Single Sales chart.

Other charting Blind Audition songs include Christina Grimmie’s “Wrecking Ball” (#75), Bria Kelly’s “Steamroller Blues” (#134) and Jake Worthington’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes” (#144).

There is not yet a bonus to be had, but there is definitely an impact to be made.

And making the biggest impact following the season premiere of NBC’s “The Voice” is duo Dawn and Hawkes.

Potentially representing the NBC series’ answer to season three “X Factor” winners Alex and Sierra, the on-stage (and off-stage) couple won significant praise for its Blind Auditions rendition of The Beatles’ “I’ve Just Seen a Face.”

In his successful bid to claim Dawn and Hawkes for his team, Coach Adam Levine called the performance the best he has seen on “The Voice” stage.

Viewers might not have been quite so smitten, but they definitely enjoyed the performance. By 3AM, the performance–which is not even subject to a fan vote, let alone an iTunes vote multiplier–had reached #52 on iTunes’ Overall Single Sales chart.

Other charting audition songs included Christine Grimmie’s “Wrecking Ball” (#102), Bria Kelly’s “Steamroller Blues” (#192) and Jake Worthington’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes” (#193).
