“Psych” Ratings Remain Deflated, Viewership Improves Slightly

Some will blame the show’s age. Some will blame a dip in creative quality. Some will blame its new 9PM timeslot.

The fact on which all must agree, however, is that USA Network’s “Psych” continues to suffer from deflated viewership numbers.

Wednesday’s episode, the fourth of the USA comedy’s eighth season, delivered a mere 0.7 adults 18-49 rating with 1.73 million viewers.

Even with last week’s adults 18-49 number and up slightly in total viewers, the performance remains very alarming.

Prior to the eighth season, no episode of “Psych” had attracted less than 2 million viewers. Three of the four eighth season episodes have dipped below that mark.
