Double duty is definitely in this year.
During this weekend’s edition of “Saturday Night Live,” NBC announced that hip-hop artist Drake will jointly serve as host and musical guest on the next episode of the iconic variety series.
That episode airs on Saturday, January 18, 2014.
Drake will be the third act to pull double duty on “SNL” this season. Earlier this fall, Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga each functioned in the joint host and musical guest roles for their respective episodes.
