He was part of two of the biggest pop collaborations in 2013, and come January, both collaborations will be vying for the same Grammy award.

Pharrell Williams, who enjoyed something of a career resurgence in 2013, appears twice on the Grammy ballot for Best Pop Duo/Group performance.

Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” and Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” both of which feature Pharrell (the former also features TI), are nominated in the category.

Other nominees include “Just Give Me a Reason” by P!nk and Nate Ruess, “Stay” by Rihanna and Mikky Ekko and “Suit & Tie” by Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z.
