Driver Revealed in Deadly Paul Walker Car Crash, Explosion

The tragic car crash and ensuing explosion rendered the bodies unidentifiable, but sources have now confirmed who died alongside Paul Walker in yesterday’s accident.

TMZ, which noted that dental records will be needed to identify the bodies before an autopsy can commence, confirmed the driver as Roger Rodas.

“Rodas — who was driving the Porsche yesterday — was friends with Walker for nearly a decade … and Roger has been credited with helping Paul start his race shop,” wrote TMZ.

The two had also united to create the “Reach Out World Wide” charitable organization.

Confirmed by the actor’s representatives late Saturday, Walker and Rodas died when the latter lost control of the Porsche he was driving. After crashing into a tree, the car exploded.
