WWE RAW Ratings Fall Against NFL Doubleheader

The decline from last week’s show was not tragic, but it definitely existed as WWE RAW commenced its annual challenge of competing with Monday Night Football.

This week’s RAW, headlined by a Daniel Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose match and the return of Goldust, drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating off hours of 1.3, 1.3 and 1.4. That represents a decline from last week’s 1.5 (off hours of 1.4, 1.6 and 1.5).

Total viewership was also subject to a small hit, dipping from an average of 3.94 million to 3.89 million.

To the surprise of no one, Monday’s NFL doubleheader dominated the cable ratings race. The opening game between the Redskins and Eagles drew a 6.6 rating with 16.52 million viewers, while the later game between the Texans and Chargers was good for a 5.0 and 10.95 million.
