Little Mix’s “DNA” Album Sales Trail Alice in Chains, Daft Punk

Daft Punk’s reign atop the Billboard 200 will extend at least one more week; with no new high-profile releases, “Random Access Memories” is certain for another stay at number one.

Even if it falls significantly from this week’s 300,000+ total, “Memories” should have no trouble topping any of the newcomers, which include Alice in Chains’ “The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here” and the US version of Little Mix’s “DNA.”

Based on opening day data, Billboard forecasts a weekly tally of 60,000 for the former and 50,000 for the latter. John Fogerty’s “Wrote a Song for Everyone” should land in the same territory as the Little Mix album.
