Dana White: “You’re a Moron” If You Didn’t Like UFC Flyweight Championship

Throughout the UFC 152 broadcast of the Flyweight Championship fight between Demetrious Johnson and Joseph Benavidez, commentator Joe Rogan made his surprise with the booing well-known.

His reaction, however, pales in comparison to that of UFC President Dana White at the UFC 152 press conference.

“I don’t want your money,” White said of those who expressed negativity over the match between Johnson and Benavidez. “Please, I’m begging you, don’t ever buy a UFC fight again.”

The rant continued, and White pulled no punches.

“You’re a moron,” he said. “You don’t like fighting.”

White was similarly fazed by the excess of criticism for the recent Renan Barao vs. Urijah Faber fight, but his reaction at that press conference was nothing like his mood at this one.

Explained White, “I wasn’t surprised…I was horrified by the booing.”
