Major WWE Superstar Taking Time Off, Latest on Paul Heyman

Though he might work one or two more televisoin dates, Randy Orton is expected to shortly embark on a hiatus to film WWE’s upcoming “12 Rounds” sequel.

Awareness of Orton’s impending deparature is a key reason why the company has been non-committal in booking Orton since his return from suspension. Though he has been featured as a top babyface, he has not gotten involved in any significant storylines and has put over heels like Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio.

— PWInsider.com reports that Paul Heyman signed a new contract with WWE to extend his run past Summerslam. It is unclear if he will appear on television every week, but he will definitely be at least a semi-regular character in terms of aligning with Punk and keeping the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H feud on the minds of viewers.
