Brock Lesnar Segment to Open WWE RAW, Shawn Michaels Also Appearing?

Paul Heyman confirmed to WWE.com that Brock Lesnar will open tomorrow’s RAW with an address to the leading wrestling promotion’s “Universe.”

The fallout to Brock Lesnar’s win over Triple H is sure to be a peak concern for WWE viewers, and by putting the Lesnar address at the beginning of the show, WWE will again try to get fans in the habit of watching at 8PM.

Since expanding to three hours, the 8-9PM segment has drawn notably lower ratings and viewership totals than the latter two hours, indicating that fans have either been unable to break their habit of tuning in at 9PM or are unconvinced that the first hour is as “must-see” as the latter two.

But with WWE soon to face regular season Monday Night Football, the company needs to do everything it can to assure fans are ready to watch when the show first goes live.

— While HHH’s status for RAW is unknown, Shawn Michaels teased on Twitter that he might appear via satellite.
