“Eastbound & Down” “F’n In” For Season Four at HBO

HBO’s widely expected renewal of “Eastbound and Down” officially came through Monday, confirming that cult favorite character Kenny Powers will be back for a fourth season.

Going into the most recent third season, all reports indicated that the creative forces behind the show had no desire to continue past the finale. But as that finale approached–and then eventually came–the hardline perspective softened, and it became clear that HBO was making progress towards bringing “Eastbound” back for another inning.

The third season finale featured Kenny faking his own death to live a low-profile life with April and his son, clearly setting the wheels in motion for another go-around.
