Former WWE Star Rips Brock Lesnar, Undertaker UFC 121 Confrontation

Former WWE and WCW wrestler Bill Goldberg ripped the Brock Lesnar-Undertaker UFC 121 confrontation as “weak.”

Goldberg explained that the interaction, which saw Undertaker stare down and ask a defeated Lesnar, “you wanna do it,” in presumed reference to a wrestling match, “served [its] purpose but [was] ill timed.”

He also said the staredown looked “weak.”

Despite UFC President Dana White’s blunt dismissal of the possibility that Brock Lesnar will work a wrestling match for WWE, the Lesnar-Undertaker staredown has taken on a life of its own and easily become the most-discussed story in both wrestling and mixed martial arts this week.

For a week that saw Cain Velasquez brutalize Brock Lesnar to become the UFC Heavyweight Champion and UFC formally announce that it was absorbing and phasing out WEC, that is quite the accomplishment.
