It also starts at #15 on the Digital Song Sales chart.

Despite launching on the sixth day of the sales and streaming tracking period (and third day of the radio tracking frame), Carrie Underwood’s “Cry Pretty” earns a spot on this week’s Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100.

The new single grabs #5 on the chart, which ranks the Top 25 songs that have yet to appear on the actual Hot 100.

Like the actual listing, Bubbling Under ranks songs based on combined activity from sales, streams and radio airplay.

Despite the late-week arrival, “Cry Pretty” made a big splash on the sales front. It actually takes #15 on the weekly Digital Song Sales chart.

It also received a predictably warm welcome at country radio.
