ZAYN’s “PILLOWTALK” Debuts With 267.3K US Sales, Takes #1 On Digital Songs

Powered by an impressive first week sales total, ZAYN’s “PILLOWTALK” predictably debuts atop the Billboard Digital Songs chart.

According to Nielsen Music, “PILLOWTALK” sold 267,260 US copies during the January 29-February 4 tracking week, which marked its first week of release. The count comfortably ranks as the week’s best.

Drake’s “Summer Sixteen,” which takes #2, sold 214,677 copies within the same window. To its credit, it was not available at the onset of the tracking period.

The lead single from ZAYN’s forthcoming solo debut, “PILLOWTALK” is expected to leverage its strong first week sales and streaming figures for a Top 3 position on this week’s all-encompassing Hot 100.
