Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody” Goes 2X Platinum in the United States

Natalie La Rose’s breakthrough single has been officially certified multi-platinum.

The RIAA has confirmed that La Rose’s “Somebody” earned its double-platinum distinction on August 17, 2015. Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, the 2X platinum mark confirms a US unit total in excess of 2 million.

One unit is equal to one paid download or 100 streams.

News of the recent 2X platinum certification comes as the RIAA also confirms a 2X distinction for Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink).” La Rose has been performing on 5H’s “Reflection” summer tour.

“Somebody,” which features vocals from Jeremih, reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year.
