“Talking Body” Now Slated as Tove Lo’s Next Pop Radio Single

No longer hooked on “Not on Drugs,” Republic now plans to throw its promotional weight behind a different Tove Lo single.

According to the label’s radio promotions website, the official follow-up to Tove Lo’s #1 smash “Habits (Stay High)” will be “Talking Body.”

“Talking Body,” a standout, radio-friendly track from the singer-songwriter’s album “Queen of the Clouds,” is set to impact the pop radio format on January 13, 2015**. Republic will also initiate a pop push for Nicki Minaj’s “Bed of Lies (featuring Skylar Grey)” on that date.

In addition to strong marks from fans and critics, “Talking Body” has also commanded the early eye of radio programmers. San Francisco’s 99-7 NOW officially added the song last week.

Republic still lists “Not on Drugs” as Tove Lo’s representative single at alternative. The song has thus far not gained traction at the format.

**Updated impact date.
