Vance Joy, Shawn Mendes Join Taylor Swift’s “1989” Tour; Dates Revealed

From Florida Georgia Line to Hunter Hayes to Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift has a knack for selecting some of music’s biggest up-and-comers to support her on tour.

The latest recipients of that coveted gig are Vance Joy and Shawn Mendes, whom Swift revealed will hit the road as part of her “1989 World Tour.”

According to Swift’s official statement, Vance Joy, whose “Riptide” has become a multi-format hit, will perform on all North American dates. Mendes will join for “select performances.”

The currently announced dates follow; Swift adds that the tour will head to Australia in December 2015.
