“SNL” Hits Season Low Ratings for Charlize Theron, Black Keys

Saturday’s edition of “SNL,” which featured host Charlize Theron and musical guest The Black Keys, delivered the program’s weakest ratings of the season.

Down in both households and adults 18-49 from last week’s telecast, which previously reigned as the worst-performing “Saturday Night Live” this season, the episode settled for a mere 3.8 overnight household rating and a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating in the 25 markets with local people meters.

Both represent new lows for the season.

After enjoying some strong performances earlier this season, the NBC variety show has spent the spring in a ratings funk. The last six episodes have delivered numbers at the bottom of the show’s ratings range.

“SNL” closes out the season next week with host Andy Samberg and musical guest St. Vincent.
