“Faking It” Scores Modest Ratings Out of Weakened “Awkward”

Down notably from its season premiere performance, Tuesday’s “Awkward” provided lukewarm lead-in support for the premiere of new series “Faking It.”

Predictably, “Faking It” then ended up delivering a mediocre ratings showing of its own.

MTV’s new scripted series opened to a soft 0.5 adults 18-49 rating with 1.165 million viewers. Irrefutably unspectacular, the number does compare reasonably well to that of its “Awkward” lead-in.

After opening its season to a 0.8 with 1.629 million viewers last week, this week’s “Awkward” could only muster a 0.6 with 1.253 million viewers.
