Drake’s “Scorpion” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart, Florence + Machine, Gorillaz In Top 3

“Scorpion,” “High As Hope,” and “The Now Now” are leading the way on iTunes.

While it did not get there immediately upon launch, it did get there fairly quickly.

Drake’s new double-album “Scorpion” is #1 on the US iTunes sales chart as of press time at 1:35AM ET Friday.

“High As Hope,” a fellow newcomer from Florence + The Machine, currently sits at #2. “High As Hope” enjoyed a brief stint at #1 prior to the ascent of “Scorpion.”

Gorillaz’ new “The Now Now” follows at #3, while Panic! At The Disco’s “Pray For The Wicked” (#4) and The Carters’ “Everything Is Love” (#5) complete the Top 5.

Bullet For My Valentine’s new “Gravity” (#6), the enduring “The Greatest Showman” soundtrack (#7), Guns N’ Roses’ new super deluxe edition of “Appetite For Destruction” (#8), Dan + Shay’s “Dan + Shay” (#9) and Dave Matthews Band’s “Come Tomorrow” (#10) complete the Top 10.
