Drake Scores First Lead #1 as “One Dance” Claims Top Spot on Hot 100

Last week’s runner-up is this week’s leader: Drake’s “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla)” climbs to #1 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The move comes in conjunction with the debut of Drake’s new album “Views,” which concurrently takes #1 on the Billboard 200 album consumption chart. Drake thus has America’s #1 album and #1 song.

In reaching the chart’s apex, “One Dance” gives Drake his first chart-topper as a lead artist. He had previously reached #1 as a featured artist on Rihanna’s “What’s My Name?” and “Work.”

“One Dance” seizes the Hot 100 throne from Desiigner’s “Panda,” which slips to #2 after a pair of weeks on top.
