Drake Has 20 Songs On Billboard Hot 100, Breaks Justin Bieber’s Record

Last week, Beyonce broke the record for most simultaneous Hot 100 positions held by a female artist.

This week, Drake breaks the record for any artist. He holds twenty positions on this week’s Hot 100 — and nineteen as a lead artist.

The record previously belonged to Justin Bieber, who held 17 spots in conjunction with the release of his album “Purpose.”

Eighteen tracks appear on Drake’s new album “Views.” The highest ranking of those tracks is the chart’s highest ranking period: “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla),” which takes #1 on this week’s edition of the Hot 100. It represents Drake’s first chart-topping hit as a lead artist.

Particularly notable about the achievement is that the majority of Drake’s “Views” tracks were not available for individual purchase during the tracking week. Their Hot 100 positions, therefore, are exclusively attributable to Apple Music streams (and, in some cases, very nominal airplay).

Here are his twenty Hot 100 positions:

1) One Dance ft. WizKid & Kyla
6) Work (Rihanna ft. Drake)
21) Pop Style ft. The Throne
33) Hype
34) Controlla
38) Grammys ft. Future
40) Still Here
44) U With Me?
45) 9
47) With You ft. PARTYNEXTDOOR
49) Childs Play
52) Too Good ft. Rihanna
53) Feel No Ways
54) Weston Road Flows
61) Redemption
68) Keep The Family Close
72) Faithful ft. Pimp C & dvsn
75) Fire & Desire
86) Views
89) Summer Sixteen
