Fifth Harmony [X Factor 2012 | FOX]
Earlier this spring, “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” became the first Fifth Harmony song to reach the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
This week, it becomes the group’s first Top 5 hit on the all-encompassing chart.
Up two places, “Work From Home” grabs #5 on the latest edition of the Billboard Hot 100, which ranks songs based on the combination of activity from sales, streaming, and radio activity.
It comes in conjunction with a banner week at radio; the song reached #1 on Mediabase’s rhythmic airplay chart (Billboard has not yet announced whether it hit #1 on its corresponding Rhythmic Songs chart).
As has been the case since its debut, it also fared well from a sales and streaming standpoint.
“Work From Home” is the lead single from Fifth Harmony’s “7/27,” which launches on May 27 but will reportedly be made available for pre-release Apple streaming on May 20.
