Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” Remains #1 at Pop Radio, Meghan Trainor Enters Top 5

Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” which was named the best pop hit of 2015, tops the first pop radio airplay chart of 2016.

Spun approximately 18,299 times during the December 27-January 2 tracking week (-763), “Sorry” earns a third week at #1 on Mediabase’s pop chart.

Its closest competition again comes from Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love,” which holds at #2 on the strength of ~17,471 weekly spins (-262).

Adele’s “Hello” (#3, = | ~16,515, -1,090) and Alessia Cara’s “Here” (#4, = | ~15,405, +104) also match last week’s positions, while Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You (featuring John Legend)” improves to #5.

Up one place, the song earned ~12,860 tracking week spins (-569).

Of the four singles released from her “Title,” “Lose You” is Trainor’s third Top 5 pop hit.
