Echosmith’s “Bright,” Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It” Reach Top 20 at Pop Radio

Two promising young groups are once again positioned within the Top 20 at pop radio.

For Echosmith, the latest top twenty position comes courtesy “Bright.” The follow-up to the band’s breakthrough hit “Cool Kids,” “Bright” vaults three places to a new peak of #18 on this week’s official Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

“Bright” earned 4,626 spins during the April 26-May 2 tracking week.

The aforementioned “Cool Kids” went as high as #9 during its impressive run on the pop chart.

Also new to the Top 20 is Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink).” Spun 4,506 times during the aforementioned tracking week, “Worth It” grabs the #19 position on this week’s chart.

Like “Bright,” it improves its weekly ranking by three places.

In reaching #19, “Worth It” ties the highest position achieved by previous single “Sledgehammer.” Considering the song is still on the rise, it appears poised to move higher in the coming weeks and establish itself as Fifth Harmony’s most successful pop radio offering.

“Worth It” has already set career high marks on the Billboard Hot 100 and on the Mediabase and Billboard rhythmic airplay charts.

— Multi-format offerings, “Bright” and “Worth It” also reach peaks on other Mediabase airplay charts this week. The Echosmith tune rises to #14 on the hot adult contemporary airplay listing (2,573 spins), while Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It” enters the Top 25 at rhythmic (1,022 spins).
