When Blake Shelton’s “Bringing Back the Sunshine” hits shelves this week, it will do so with the strength of a top ten country single behind it.
Lead single “Neon Light” officially reaches the #10 position on the latest Mediabase country airplay chart.
The recipient of 5,055 spins during the September 21-27 tracking period, Shelton’s “Light” overtakes Sam Hunt’s “Leave the Night On” to claim the week’s only available Top 10 spot. Hunt’s song holds at #11 with 4,941 spins.
Owing its top ten placement to a weekly lift of 525 spins, “Neon Light” was the format’s third-greatest gainer this week. Only Brad Paisley’s #23 “Perfect Storm” (+640) and Tim McGraw’s #26 “Shotgun Rider” (+628) made bigger gains this week.
