Other Artists To Join Bruno Mars During NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show

Those complaining about Bruno Mars, rather than a native New Jersey or New York artist, receiving the Super Bowl halftime show gig might be in luck.

During FOX’s post-game show, announcer Erin Andrews confirmed that the network will, over the course of the season, be revealing which “other artists” will be performing alongside Mars during the big game.

Andrews gave no indication as to the types of artists who would be tapped for the gig, but she definitely confirmed the “Locked Out of Heaven” singer will not be on his own.

Supporting reports that emerged late in the week, the NFL announced Sunday morning that Mars received the coveted Super Bowl halftime gig. The initial reveal made no mention of “other artists” joining Mars for the performance.

Mars’ performance takes place on February 2, 2014 as part of the Super Bowl XLVIII festivities. The game takes place at East Rutherford, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.
