The NFL officially announced Sunday that chart-topper Bruno Mars will perform during the 2014 NFL Super Bowl halftime show.
Mars follows Beyonce to become the second contemporary performer to lead the festivities. A dynamic singer-songwriter, the hitmaker is also an acclaimed performer who routinely receives raves for his live performances on awards show broadcasts.
Sponsored by Pepsi, the halftime show will separate the in-game action at the upcoming Super Bowl XLVIII. The game takes place at New Jersey’s Metlife Stadium on February 2, 2014.
