FX’s “The Bridge” Ratings Slip, Remain Above Series Low

With a relatively stable viewership after four episodes, FX’s “The Bridge” nonetheless continues to seesaw in the adults 18-49 demographic.

After rebounding from a 0.5 to a 0.7 last week, this week’s episode dipped to a 0.6 in that coveted young adult demo. Viewership wise, it was down to 1.752 million from the prior week’s mark of 1.782 million.

As a point of comparison, winter FX launch “The Americans” garnered a 0.8 rating with 1.91 million viewers in its fourth outing. That marked an increase from the 0.7 rating and 1.65 million viewer mark delivered by episode three.

Following that performance, FX rewarded “The Americans” with a second season. “The Bridge” did not receive the same treatment, although with stabilizing ratings and a fan following, it is far from out of contention for an eventual renewal of its own.
