“The Walking Dead” Ratings Stay Strong For Week Three

Though last week’s edition of “The Walking Dead” predictably lost some of the premiere audience, the AMC hit held steady in the ratings for week three and actually improved with total viewers.

“Dead” garnered a 2.5 adults 18-49 rating with 5.074 million viewers according to Mediaweek, which represents an increase of about 8% among total viewers.

It is still far too early to deem “The Walking Dead” a surefire ratings phenomenon, but with only a few episodes remaining in the first season, it now seems very unlikely it will head into hiatus as anything less than a very successful new cable drama.
