A&E confirmed Wednesday that it will chronicle wrestling legend Hulk Hogan’s latest dealings in a one-hour special entitled “Finding Hulk Hogan.”
The special, set to air November 17 at 10PM, “gives an unflinching look at Hulk Hogan’s life in the aftermath of his divorce and his lawsuit from his son’s tragic car accident as he rebuilds his life and returns to the ring.”
Promotional copy for the special notes that Hogan had hoped to be happily retired but now must start over after “losing nearly everything in the aftermath of his divorce, a pending lawsuit from his son’s tragic car accident, and a body riddled with injuries from years in the ring.”
Footage and candid interviews will deal with the unfortunate drama of Hulk Hogan’s life, including thoughts of suicide, substance abuse, his broken marriage, financial loss and injuries and build to his recent attempts to make amends with his children, find God and commit to his girlfriend.
Hulk Hogan produced the special with Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey of BischoffHervey Entertainment.
