Having revealed all of the key acting, writing and directing winners for Comedy and Drama series, the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards moved into a stretch of announcements that included winners for variety series and movies/miniseries.
The big winner in the movie category was “Temple Grandin,” which won the Emmy for Outstanding Made for TV Movie. It also won for Outstanding Directing (Mick Jackson), Outstanding Lead Actress (Claire Danes), Supporting Actress (Julia Ormond) and Supporting Actor (David Strathairn). Al Pacino grabbed the trophy for Outstanding Actor in a Movie or Miniseries for his work in “You Don’t Know Jack.”
“Jack”‘s Adam Mazer earned the Outstanding Writing for a Movie, Miniseries or Dramatic Special.
“The Pacific” earned the award for Outstanding Miniseries.
