Bryan Cranston Wins Emmy Award, Gives “Breaking Bad” Actor Sweep

“Breaking Bad” completed its sweep of the dramatic actor section Sunday night, as supporting actor Aaron Paul and lead actor Bryan Cranston took home Emmys at the 62nd Annual Primetime Awards.

Paul’s victory, announced earlier in the evening, was his first. Cranston, however, achieves a rare three-peat for his performance as Walter White. He beat out a mix of familiar faces and first-time nominees this year.

Also nominated were Kyle Chandler (“Friday Night Lights”), Matthew Fox (“Lost”), Jon Hamm (“Mad Men”), Hugh Laurie (“House”) and Michael C. Hall (“Dexter”).
