Even though his performance received rave reviews last year, it was hard to argue with the Emmys’ decision to honor “Lost” star Michael Emerson with the trophy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
This year, however, things finally worked out for “Breaking Bad” breakout Aaron Paul, who beat out a star-studded cast for the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards’ prize for Supporting Actor.
Paul, who regularly holds his own with the show’s acclaimed lead actor Bryan Cranston, defeated “Lost”‘s Emerson and Terry O’Quinn, “Damages”‘s Martin Short, “Mad Men”‘s John Slattery and “Men of a Certain Age”‘s Andre Braugher at the 2010 Emmys.
