Shaed’s “Trampoline” Scoring Well With Hot AC & Pop Radio Listeners

“Trampoline” is faring well with mainstream radio listeners.

Shaed’s #1 alternative radio hit “Trampoline” has been crossing to the hot adult contemporary and pop radio formats in recent weeks.

Listeners at those mainstream formats seem quite pleased. Per the latest Mediabase/Critical Mass Media callout report, “Trampoline” is one of the best-testing songs at both formats.

Per the Hot AC report, which is based on a survey of listeners, “Trampoline” boasts a positive reaction from 69.3% of listeners, a negative reaction from 12.5% and thus a “net positive” score of 56.8%.

Of the 15 songs measured this week, it has the best score for each of the three columns.

At pop, “Trampoline” meanwhile has a positive reception from 67.0%, a negative reaction from 14.3% and a “net positive” score of 52.7%. Of the 18 songs in this week’s report, it has the #3 positive score, the #1 (lowest) negative score, and the #2 net positive reaction.

While the reaction has not yet risen to widespread “love” (it is #6 for “favorite” rating at Hot AC and just #13 for “favorite” at pop), it is clearly earning a positive response with listeners. The response has the possibility to become even more enthusiastic as airplay grows.
