Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber’s “I Don’t Care” Receiving Big Opening Day Radio Play

“I Don’t Care” will receive hourly airplay from numerous stations.

Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber released their new collaboration “I Don’t Care” late Thursday/early Friday.

Given the stature of the artists, it should come as no surprise that the song is receiving immediate support at radio.

Numerous mainstream stations, in fact, plan to play the song every hour on Friday. The hourly airplay should allow “I Don’t Care” to make an immediate airplay on this week’s airplay chart — an impressive feat given that it is launching on the penultimate day of the May 5-11 tracking period.

“I Don’t Care” is also faring well on the US iTunes store, where it occupies a Top 5 position as of press time at 1:40AM ET.
