Olivia Rodrigo’s “drop dead” Officially Earns #1 At Hot Adult Contemporary Radio

“drop dead” completes its ascent to #1 at Hot AC.

A former #1 at pop radio, Olivia Rodrigo’s “drop dead” this week reaches the pinnacle of the Mediabase hot adult contemporary chart.

Up one place from last week’s position, “drop dead” earns #1 thanks to the ~5,023 spins it received during the October 25-31. The count tops last week’s mark by 258 plays.

Due to the end of Daylight Savings Time, it is possible there may be a larger-than-usual adjustment to the final spin count. The adjustment should not, however, impact the Rodrigo song’s claim to #1.

Tame Impala & JENNIE’s “Dracula” falls one spot to #2 this week, while Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” rises a level to #3. Zara Larsson’s “Midnight Sun” drops a place to #4, and Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” retains the #5 ranking.
